Events
As Rozelle Child Care Centre is a community based centre, we rely heavily on support from the parents of the centre and our local community to help us provide many new facilities, and to upgrade those existing ones.
We hold various events throughout the year that are broken into two categories - fundraising and working bees. Our fundraising events enable us to purchase new equipment, while the working bees provide ongoing maintenance of the centre's existing facilities.
Events Calendar - 2012
Family Fun Day - Sat 24th March 2012 10am - 1pm. This FFD is gearing up to be a fantastic event and wonderful way to welcome all the new families to RCCC! This year we have live music from "The Maybes", huge jumping castle, face painting, sand art, cake and market stalls, fresh coffee, BBQ/Bar/Ice creams, lucky door prizes and even a visit from the Balmain Fire Truck!!! $15 entry per family.
Working Bee dates 2012
This year the Working Bee dates will fall on alternate Saturday and Sunday dates. This will hopefully make it easier for families to attend at least one Working Bee throughout the year.
The dates are:
• Saturday 3rd March – 9am – 12pm
• Sunday 17th June – 9am – 12pm
• Saturday 8th September – 9am – 12pm
• Sunday 25th November – 9am – 12pm
As a community run centre, unfortunately we must charge a $100 levy to families who do not attend at least one Working Bee throughout the year.
