Working Bees

Working bees are held at the centre on a quarterly basis and cover a wide and varied number of jobs - so you don’t have to be 'handy' to participate.  Working bees are important to our service, as they help to make the centre a better place for our children, staff and families and are a great way to meet new Families and make a difference!

All children are welcome to attend (under the supervision of their family) as we all work together for a fun morning of: caring for our garden; restocking our sandpits; re-mulching our garden; building any new items purchased etc.

Working Bee dates 2018

The Working Bee dates fall on alternate Saturday and Sunday dates. This will hopefully make it easier for families to attend at least one Working Bee throughout the year.

The dates are:

Sunday 18th March, 2018: 9am-12pm- CANCELLED

Saturday 30th June, 2018: 9am-12pm

Sunday 26th August, 2018: 9am–12pm

Saturday 17th November, 2018: 9am-12pm

As a community run centre, unfortunately we must charge a $100 levy to families who do not attend at least one Working Bee throughout the year.
